Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process in compliance with SLA requirements and the company's financial policies and procedures, using the designated ERP system. Ensures that all transactions—including reports, accruals, reconciliations, and other assigned tasks—are completed accurately and in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

  • Validate supplier invoices and supporting documents.
  • Secure required approvals before processing.
  • Review employee expense reports.
  • Ensure compliance with DOA and PO details.
  • Perform 2-way/3-way invoice matching.
  • Execute payment runs and secure batch approvals.
  • Prepare weekly invoice and aging reports.
  • Monitor invoice status and payment releases.
  • Investigate and resolve AP discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and local teams for queries or disputes.
  • Prepare monthly accruals and related entries.
  • Maintain AP files and meet SLA performance targets.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Accounts Reconciliation & Reporting
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Update supplier account status.
  • Prepare AP account analyses and month-end reports.
  • Provide data for CARS declarations.
Administrative Support
  • Provide data for Balanced Scorecard reports.
  • Update overtime, leave, and man-hours in PeopleCore.
  • Support project implementations and UAT activities.
  • Assist with audit requirements.
  • Support other FSSC tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
  • Experience with AR/AP/GL modules in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google Workspace applications.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to meet deadlines when needed.
  • Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
