Bartender/Barista

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and personable Barista/Bartender to prepare and serve high-quality beverages while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves crafting coffee-based drinks, cocktails, and mocktails, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of beverages, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including coffee, espresso-based drinks, cocktails, mocktails, and other specialty drinks.
• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring excellent service at all times.
• Recommend menu items, upsell products, and handle customer requests efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, coffee station, and work areas.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Handle cash and operate POS systems accurately.
• Monitor stock levels, restock supplies, and assist with inventory management.
• Stay updated on beverage trends and contribute creative ideas for new drink offerings.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during service.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Barista, Bartender, or in a similar customer service role.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and/or cocktail preparation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Certification in food safety or bartending (if applicable) is an advantage.

Work Conditions:

• Fast-paced hospitality environment requiring long hours of standing.
• May include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holiday shifts.
