Mold Maker

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, assemble, and repair injection molds according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Set up and operate precision machine tools such as milling machines, lathes, grinders, and EDM equipment.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and modify molds to improve performance and ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to meet project timelines and standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance on molds to extend service life and reduce production interruptions.
• Inspect molds and finished components to verify dimensional accuracy and conformance to specifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace while adhering to all safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Technical or Vocational Training in mold making or machining preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in injection mold making, fabrication, and maintenance.
• Experience in both new mold construction and mold repair.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Skilled in operating CNC, EDM, milling, and grinding machines.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming, is a plus factor.
• Strong understanding of plastic injection molding processes and mold components.
• Capable of performing precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.
