About the role

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Steward to join our team at ZC KINGS MANPOWER COOPERATIVE' in Pasay City, Metro Manila. As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our commercial kitchen, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for our talented culinary team. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development within our growing hospitality and tourism business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Wash, clean, and sanitise all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces to the highest standards of cleanliness
  2. Restock and organise kitchen supplies, ingredients, and tools to maintain a well-stocked and orderly work area
  3. Assist the kitchen team with various food preparation tasks as needed
  4. Dispose of waste and recyclables in a timely and environmentally responsible manner
  5. Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working environment
  6. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture in the kitchen

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or in a similar role within a commercial kitchen environment
  2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
  3. Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  4. Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods of time
  5. A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in where needed
  6. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
