Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Editor to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of all marketing content across multiple platforms. As an integral part of the content creation process, you will collaborate closely with writers, designers, and marketers to produce engaging and high-impact materials that align with our brand voice and campaign objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, edit, and proofread marketing materials including blog posts, website content, email campaigns, product descriptions, whitepapers, and social media copy.

  • Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines, style guides, and SEO best practices.

  • Provide constructive feedback to writers and suggest improvements in structure, clarity, tone, and grammar.

  • Collaborate with marketing strategists and creative teams to align content with campaign goals.

  • Fact-check content for accuracy and consistency in messaging.

  • Maintain editorial calendars and ensure timely delivery of projects.

  • Monitor performance of edited content and make recommendations for improvement based on engagement and other KPIs.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of professional editing experience, preferably in a marketing or advertising environment.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and content formats.

  • Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and style.

  • Proficient in editing tools such as Grammarly, Hemingway, or editorial plugins in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).

  • Familiarity with SEO principles and tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Analytics) is a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Experience with project management tools like Trello, Asana, or

  • Understanding of basic HTML and content management systems.

  • Experience working with brand tone and voice development.
