Project Oversight: Supervise engineering and construction activities, including design, staking, right-of-way acquisition, mapping, and cutover operations.
Maintenance Leadership: Direct routine and emergency maintenance of existing facilities to extend asset life and minimize capital expenditures.
Team Supervision: Lead technical staff (e.g., splicers, field engineers), assign work orders, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Inventory & Materials Management: Monitor outside plant materials, maintain inventory levels, and evaluate new products for operational efficiency.
Contractor Coordination: Manage relationships with external contractors and engineering service providers.
Customer Issue Resolution: Address service interruptions, damage claims, and customer complaints related to outside plant infrastructure.
Mapping Accuracy: Oversee staking and mapping activities to ensure accuracy and updates.
Budgeting & Reporting: Provide data for annual and operational budgets, and report departmental performance to senior management.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies in all field operations.
On-Call Duty: Participate in supervisor on-call rotations for urgent field issues.
- Must be a degree holder of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- MUST have at least five (5) years of experience in management or supervision of Aerial & Underground Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) project implementation, maintenance, repairs, and testing; planning of structural cabling, underground FOC, micro trenching, drilling, aerial FOC installation, and last mile FOC implementation.
- MUST have a valid driver's license.
