Junior Planner Buyer

General Responsibility:

Plans, procures, and controls aircraft materials, general-use materials, and services required within Company policies and procedures to ensure that the company's operations will be adequately supported.

Job description:

• Generates applicable requisitions and orders in the system and validates user-generated requisitions for materials, tools, equipment and/or services.
• Ensures procurement of validated material and/or services requirements from approved vendors that have appropriate and complete documentation and material certificates in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Solicits and obtains vendor bids/quotations and negotiates for best possible commercial terms for the materials and/or services being purchased.
• Ensures that all suppliers/vendors are approved and accredited by Quality Management.
• Communicates with the Technical Services Department (TS), to make certain the technical acceptability of materials and/or services being purchased, repaired, or exchanged.
• Ensures the timely validation of invoices and resolution of payment rejection notices to ensure avoidance of adverse effects on the supply of materials and services.
• Performs market research and keeps abreast of material management tools and technology.
• Complies with and supports in the implementation of prescribed work performance standards, corporate and departmental policies, and procedures

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Engineering Degree
• Familiarity with transportation regulations, customs procedure, trade compliance, and international logistic processes
• Organize and with keen attention to details.
• Must be solution-oriented and team player.
• Willing to render overtime
• Willing to be assign in Pasay City
