Ship Document Associate

The Associate Ships document & Certificate is to assist Ships document & Certificate personnel.
Monitors the expiry dates and inform the superintendent in charge of the ship at earlier time to be able to prepare the necessary documents and/or services in preparation for ship's inspection as prerequisite for the renewal of the certificates.
Record keeping; Timely uploading of valid certificates on SERTICA and provide traffic monitoring for all the ship's class, trading, statutory and administration certificates and/or documents.
Liaise with the agencies, both government and private, sectors for the application/renewal of the ship's documents/certificates.
Assumes the post in the absence of the Ships document & Certificate personnel.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Keeping track of product quality of incoming and outgoing products.
Collaborate with Ships document & Certificate in charge ensuring PSACC ships are legally and operationally compliance with
regards to the updated documents and certifications:
- a. Monitors and report the annual and Periodical Survey of all Company trading vessels.
- b. Assist the Ships document & Certificate personnel for the drydock schedule of all company trading vessels for the Fleet Manager's reference and perusal.
- c. Assist for the applications of all company trading vessels' statutory documents renewal; endorsements; inspections with the Flag
- d. Prepare the draft all MARINA LOI for the renewal/inspections/survey/ endorsements.
- e. Work with Ships document & Certificate personnel for the applications & requests with quarantine for scheduled sanitation inspections and renewal of all vessel's sanitation certificate.
- f. Work with Ships document & Certificate personnel for the applications and requests w/ PCG for scheduled OWS testing/sampling relative to vessels OWS accreditation certs. Renewal and aneroid barometer calibration/renewal. Vessels OPPC/IOPPC; SPPC/ISPPC; HOLDING TANK/STP accreditation certificates renewal and/or endorsement.
- g. Performing other duties, which may be assigned by the superiors
