About the Role:
Our specialty insurance client is seeking a
Senior
PowerBI Developer
to join their growing team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that provide critical insights for business decision-making. While prior experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain is a plus, it is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality
    Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
    .
  • Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
  • Perform
    SQL-based data exploration and analysis
    to support reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of data sources.
  • Support the
    migration of Tableau dashboards to Power BI
    where applicable.
  • Optimize queries, models, and dashboards for performance and usability.

Qualifications:

  • Power BI Certified Developer
    with at least
    5 years of experience
    in Power BI development.
  • Strong expertise in
    Power BI, DAX, and data modeling
    .
  • Solid
    SQL skills
    for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with
    Snowflake
    or other cloud-based data platforms preferred.
  • Background in
    Tableau-to-Power BI migration
    is highly desirable.
  • Insurance domain experience (especially
    P&C insurance
    ) is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
