Lineman/Technician - OSP

• Perform regular inspection and maintenance of network node facilities and equipment (e.g., ONU, OLT cabinets, backup batteries, power supply, air conditioning units).
• Monitor temperature, humidity, and power levels within node enclosures to ensure optimal operating conditions.
• Conduct routine cleaning, and security checks on all node sites.
• Ensure nodes are compliant with company standards in cable management, power distribution, and ventilation.
• Troubleshoot minor faults related to power, environmental conditions, or physical damage.
• Coordinate with technical teams for major repairs or hardware replacements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance logs, and site issues.
• Report hazards, outages, and irregularities to the OSP Supervisor for immediate action.
• Respond promptly to network or power alarms affecting node locations.

Qualifications:

• At least High School graduate; vocational or TESDA certification in electronics, electrical, or HVAC is an advantage.
• 1-2 years of experience in telecom node maintenance, facilities, or utility work is preferred.
• Basic knowledge in electrical systems, battery backups, and climate control.
• Physically fit and able to travel to multiple node sites.
• Familiar with safety procedures and standards in handling electrical and network equipment.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work flexible hours and during emergencies.
