Cadet Engineer

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join General Chemical and Resins Consortium Inc. as a Cadet Engineer. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the production, planning and scheduling operations at our manufacturing facility in Rosario Cavite. As a Cadet Engineer, you will gain valuable experience and training to develop your engineering skills and progress your career within our thriving organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting in the planning, scheduling and execution of production processes
2. Monitoring and optimising production efficiency and output
3. Identifying and addressing operational bottlenecks and challenges
4. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
6. Providing technical support and contributing to the resolution of engineering-related issues
7. Maintaining detailed records and reporting on production data and key performance indicators

What we're looking for

1. A bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or a related technical discipline
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
3. Experience is an advantage but not required
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
5. Enthusiasm for continuous learning and process improvement
6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
