Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor the IT team, including network administrators, technicians, and support staff.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and data backups.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, access controls, and data protection protocols.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of business-critical systems.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Plan and execute technology upgrades and digital transformation projects.
  • Coordinate with different departments to identify IT needs and provide solutions.
  • Prepare and manage the IT budget, including procurement of hardware, software, and services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, Philippine Data Privacy Act).
  • Generate reports for management on IT performance, risks, and project progress.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or additional management training is a plus.

Experience


• Mid-Level: 3–5 years experience in IT operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

• Senior-Level: 5–7 years experience in IT management or leadership.

Technical Skills (Required)

  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.

  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.

  • Knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Experience in cybersecurity practices and tools.

  • Strong skills in backup and disaster recovery planning.

  • Proficiency in project management and IT documentation.

Certifications (Preferred but not required)

  • ITIL Foundation Certification – for IT service management.

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+.

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.

  • CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
