RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop high-quality automation tools or software design and architecture for Autodesk CAD Software and other engineering applications by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  • Investigating problem areas and determining operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Designing new software programs, websites, and engineering applications according to the provided requirement specifications
  • Debug, maintain, and enhance existing CAD automation scripts and plugins.
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code best practices.
  • Collaborate with Global clients and counterparts for operational improvement by conducting system analysis and recommending automating processes.
  • Updates job knowledge by studying relevant development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, and by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Planning and assigning tasks to junior developers, such as coding, testing, debugging, and analytics.
  • Supports and develops junior developers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of a BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • With minimum of three years of industry experience.
  • Must have intermediate development skills and experience with either Python or C# or must be able to level up within 5 months to intermediate skills in development for both Python and C#.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD development, AutoLISP, and .NET Framework is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with CAD platforms like Inventor, Plant3D, and similar will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in 3D applications of Linear Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, and Physics Modeling is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in any of the following languages: PML, VueJS, ReactJS, ThreeJS, SQL.
  • Strong knowledge in managing databases: MSSQL, MySQL, and Postgres.
  • Ability to use version control software such as GIT.
  • Strong knowledge of software design methodologies.
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
  • Must be able to provide technical oversight and leadership to the development team.
  • Must have a passion for continuous learning and must have a self-starter attitude.
