Impex Specialist

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration .
• Must be a Licensed Customs Broker .
• At least one (1) year of work experience in customs-related operations or practices.
• Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills , both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications , particularly Microsoft Excel .

Responsibilities:

• Assist the International shipper on the pre-checking of individual shipping documents prior the loading of cargo/orders in the country of origin.
• Determine the application of Import Permits for those shipments that are regulated by government and ensure the compliance of shipment prior the actual movement.
• Monitor the customs clearance processing of all assigned shipments and provide necessary documents needed for customs clearance to ensure the on time delivery of the shipment to the plant.
• Process/monitor claims for every assigned shipment, if any.
