Responsibilities

  • Translate complex financial and investment needs into clear, actionable requirements by working closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and business leaders.
  • Document and standardize workflows for key financial and investment operations, including trade capture, settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions, and fund administration.
  • Identify and address inefficiencies, risks, and gaps in existing financial and investment processes, recommending and implementing improvements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that our system solutions accurately reflect business requirements for investment accounting, portfolio management, and trading operations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for financial and investment operations, including process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to monitor and report on the performance of investment and financial processes.
  • Lead change management efforts, including training and communication, for new or updated investment systems and processes.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, Investment Operations Certificate) is a plus.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong, demonstrable focus on investment operations within the financial services, banking, or investment industries.
  • Deep knowledge of the investment trade lifecycle, financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives), and the regulatory frameworks that govern them.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, business process documentation, and stakeholder management.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
