Our client is a multi-state ambulatory surgery center specializing in pediatric and special needs dentistry under general anesthesia. Their mission is to provide safe, compassionate, and efficient surgical care while creating a supportive environment for patients, families, and staff. To ensure quality care and regulatory compliance, we are seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join their growing team.

About the Role

The US Assistant Financial Controller will support the financial operations of the Dental Service Organization (DSO) by managing accounting processes, overseeing the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving operational efficiency in financial reporting. This role will work closely with the CFO and senior management to support growth initiatives, optimize financial performance, and maintain internal controls.

What you'll do

• Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the DSO and its individual practices.

  • Prepare detailed variance analysis for revenue, expenses, and profit, identifying trends and providing actionable insights for management.

  • Ensure proper allocation of costs and revenue across multiple practice locations.

• Cash Flow & Budgeting:

  • Assist in cash flow management, monitoring daily cash positions, and ensuring optimal liquidity across all practices.

  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes for the DSO and its practices, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Review and recommend improvements to financial operations to ensure cost efficiencies.

• Ad-hoc Analysis & Special Projects:

  • Provide financial support for special projects, including acquisitions, practice integrations, and business development opportunities.

  • Prepare and present ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to assist in strategic decision-making.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).

• CPA (or pursuing certification) preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role

• Experience in healthcare or dental service organizations is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience with accounting software and financial reporting tools

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
