Job Summary
The Commercial Lead is responsible for driving the commercial performance of the Project One Studios TSP-managed brands in different E-commerce Platforms. This includes defining pricing, product mix, promotional strategy, and partnership development to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share through live selling or overall shop management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Strategy & Planning
●Lead the development of the strategies as aligned in the platform campaign calendars and or any brand initiatives.
● Define online sales targets and margin goals by brand and category.
● Lead several teams including the Account Management, Production, CSR, and ensure GMV growth in all sales channels.
2. Product & Pricing Management
● Work with brands to ensure optimal product assortment for online channels.
● Develop and manage pricing strategies based on market trends, competition, and cost analysis.
● Optimize product listings to drive conversion (titles, descriptions, images, attributes).
3. Sales & Performance Management
● Monitor and analyze sales performance, conversion rates, AOV, and other key metrics of the Account Managers and Live Hosts.
● Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting for digital sales and inventory.
4. Channel Optimization
● Manage and optimize performance across all eCommerce platforms
● Ensure consistency and accuracy across all digital touchpoints (pricing, promotions, stock availability).
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Close collaboration with Finance, Account Managers, Brands, Production Team, Warehouse Team, and the Platform POCs to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
● Report to MANCOM periodic commercial performance reports, market insights, forecasts, and strategic plans of the TSP Operations.
6. Market & Competitor Analysis
● Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of eCommerce trends and consumer behavior.
● Benchmark against competitors on pricing, assortment, user experience, and innovations.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
● 8+ years of experience in people management, key account management, live selling, e-commerce, or digital marketing.
● Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial leadership (preferably in e-commerce, social commerce, or influencer marketing).
● Strong knowledge of TikTok Shop ecosystem and digital commerce trends.
● Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
● Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make commercial decisions.
● Entrepreneurial, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
● Previous experience in a TikTok Shop Partner Agency or e-commerce platform is a plus.
