About Us:

Global Zoo and Theme Park Alliance Inc. is committed to wildlife conservation, animal welfare, and public education. Our keepers play a critical role in the daily care, health, and enrichment of our animal collection while helping us deliver an engaging visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily husbandry: feed animals, clean enclosures, and monitor their health and behavior.
• Observe and report unusual behaviors, signs of illness, or changes in diet.
• Prepare and implement enrichment activities to encourage natural behaviors.
• Assist veterinary staff during health assessments or medical treatments.
• Maintain detailed records of food consumption, behavior, and medical logs.
• Conduct public educational interactions (e.g., keeper talks, guided tours). Perform basic maintenance on enclosures, exhibits, and adjacent areas.
• Participate in safety and emergency protocols for animal handling.
• Work on weekends, holidays, and off-hours as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least 6 to 1 year of experience in animal care (farm, exotic, or zoo animals preferred).
• Strong observational skills and ability to notice behavior or health changes.
• Physical fitness: ability to lift heavy materials (e.g., up to 50 lbs), climb, bend, and stand outdoors.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred:

• Degree or coursework in Zoology, Biology, Animal Science, or related field.
• Previous experience in a zoo or wildlife facility.
• Experience in behavioral enrichment, training, or conservation programs.
