Build an automated portal for processing denied health insurance claims, determining next actions, and streamlining billing workflows on AWS using serverless architecture.

Technical Stack:

  • Language: JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Platform: AWS Lambda functions
  • Database: Snowflake (via scheduled data pulls into AWS)
  • APIs: Legacy/traditional API integration
  • Architecture: Serverless

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop web portal and AWS Lambda functions for claims processing automation
  • Build scheduled routines to pull claims data from Snowflake into AWS
  • Create on-demand Lambda functions to trigger rebill processes
  • Integrate with legacy APIs to write processed data back to source systems
  • Collaborate with billing team to understand healthcare billing processes
  • Translate business requirements into automated decision logic
  • Work independently without requiring step-by-step guidance

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years JavaScript development experience
  • AWS Lambda experience
  • API integration experience, including legacy/traditional APIs
  • Cloud database experience (Snowflake preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and independent worker

NON NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Healthcare insurance industry experience
  • Serverless architecture knowledge
  • Data warehousing familiarity
