Universal Robina Corporation is looking for Material Planner (Simlong, Batangas)

Material Planner is responsible for the timely arrival and completeness of materials requirement for Production. He/She assures that materials are available at the required safety stocking levels.

What are the Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepares monthly, 3 months rolling Raw Materials Plan (MRP).
• Prepares Purchase Requisition (PR) and Stock Transfer Request (STR) of RMPM based on the approved MRP and ensures that the required information in the creation of Purchase Requisition (PR) are complete (Item Code, Description, Quantity (in required UOM), attachment e.g. Approved MRP for local RMPM, PFI for imported RMPM & Request for Material Ordering).
• Prepares, updates and monitors approved MRP, Purchase Requisition and Purchase Orders of RMPM if already closed, delivered completely, in transit or still to be ordered.
• Matches RMPM arrivals with Production Plans.
• Coordinates with Import Department for the details of shipments, RMPM Warehouseman for the availability and inventory of RMPM.
• Coordinate with Production Planner for the daily update and RM requirement of the Process Tickets issued.
• Monitors and reports RMPM ageing and prepares and highlights Critical Materials report.
• Monitors and coordinates closely with RM Buyer/Procurement & Suppliers for the order and delivery of RMPM.

What are the Qualifications:

• Graduate of any 4-years course preferably Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering.
• With 1-3 years relevant experience
• Can analyze data gathered from logbook/monitoring.
• Can countercheck data being recorded
• Can collaborate with Procurement/Buyer for the issues related to MRP.
• Can conduct root-cause analyzes for issues related to material planning.
• Willing to be assigned in Simlong, Batangas
• One (1) full-time job is available.
