Barista/Cashier

JOB SUMMARY

We are searching for an engaging, courteous barista/retail asst who is passionate about food and beverage preparation and education. DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, and AUTHORITIES

• Welcoming guests, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Provides high-level of coffee service during busy hours, includes making a variety of espresso and non-espresso drinks and ability to read and follow recipes
• Cleaning and restocking, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
• Follow the daily production list strictly when preparing beverage items
• Respect the shelf life of all beverage production and label accordingly to Standard Operating Procedure
• Report poor quality of raw materials and defects of bar equipment
• Respect the shelf life of all beverage production and label accordingly to Standard Operating Procedure
• Follow the cleaning charts to ensure cleaning and maintenance are done accordingly
• Perform inventory management and stock control responsibilities
• Minimized wastage of goods through good practice of First In First Out
• Maintain awareness of any items not available in the bar
• Exercise personal hygiene through clean uniforms and grooming
• Team player, flexible enough to pitch in where needed to get the job done
• Promotes coffee and chocolate consumption by educating customers
• Selling of retail products when needed
• Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers.
• Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early morning, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.

JOB SPECIFICATION

• Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Barista
• Bachelor's Degree in HRM, or a related field
• Must have attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Experience as part of pre-opening team preferred
• Able to commit 6 days in a week / 8hours per day
• Can start immediately and willing to be reassigned in different outlets
• Familiarity with telephone, office and point-of-sale software
