  1. Provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care during prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
  2. Conduct and assist in normal deliveries using aseptic techniques.
  3. Monitor vital signs and progress of labor, reporting abnormalities promptly.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  5. Assist doctors and nurses during obstetric and gynecological procedures.
  6. Provide immediate newborn care and assist in neonatal resuscitation if necessary.
  7. Record and maintain accurate and updated maternity and delivery room documentation.
  8. Educate mothers on breastfeeding, postpartum care, and newborn health.
  9. Promote and counsel patients on family planning and reproductive health.
  10. Ensure delivery rooms, equipment, and supplies are clean, sterile, and ready for use.
  11. Observe infection control, safety, and hospital policies at all times.
  12. Coordinate with the healthcare team for patient referrals and follow-up care.
  13. Participate in immunization and maternal health programs of the hospital.
  14. Attend trainings, conferences, and continuous professional development activities.
  15. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Nurse Supervisor or OB-Gyne Department Head.
