Position Summary:

Responsible for the Logistics matters for Manila, Philippines needing assistance on CY Coordination, Invoice consolidation and processing, Seal Inventory, and Logistics Reports.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in Intermodal and Trucking movement business for the branch (within Visayas Region)
  • Empty Trucking - Support ARP for Rate Request, Vendors Outsourcing and Point of Contact
  • SIPA Reference for empty repositioning
  • Transport Order Creation for Visayas Door Bookings; Review BLs and Details for shipment under Intermodal
  • Transport Lanes Maintenance and Update; Vendor Setup in Transport system
  • Troubleshoot errors on TO creations, review LARA booking and Transport Screens, escalate to SKU / infosys team if needed

CY/Depot

  • Assist in ensuring Empty Idle units are moved out within the prescribed period
  • Ensuring adequate supply of containers to meet weekly outbound demand

  • Assist in managing trucking arrangement for empty reposition of containers

  • Excess, rejected & aging containers

  • Free use containers
  • Containers for off-hire
  • Support for deficit location (domestic) & HRD bookings
  • Handling CY concerns coordination with CS, sales & depot
  • Meeting KPI for EDI- container tracking
  • Assist in monitoring of Special container units (flatracks, Open tops, Reefers, etc…)

Invoice Validation and Consolidation

  • Resolve invoice issues – RFIs
  • Coordinate Set up of new vendors

Logistics Material Inventories - monitoring

Other Adhoc Tasks that may be instructed from time to time

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Any 4-year Business Admin related courses
  • Experience in Shipping industry has an advantage
  • Trustworthy, Dependable, and keen on details
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have basic PC workstation skills in Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
