Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation Duties:
  • Safely transport staff, clients, and goods to various locations as assigned, adhering to all traffic and road safety regulations.
  • Ensure timely pickups and deliveries, coordinating schedules with other departments to meet business needs.
  • Plan routes to optimize efficiency and ensure punctuality, avoiding potential delays or traffic disruptions.
  • Vehicle Maintenance & Technical Knowledge:
  • Regularly inspect the company vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition; check tire pressure, fluid levels, brakes, and other key components.
  • Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as changing tires, refilling fluids, and keeping the vehicle clean, both inside and out.
  • Schedule and coordinate vehicle servicing and repairs as needed, working with mechanics to address any technical issues.
  • Keep up-to-date with vehicle maintenance best practices to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety at all times.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of vehicle usage, mileage, and maintenance, submitting logs as required.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies on vehicle usage and safety protocols, as well as local driving regulations.
  • Monitor and renew vehicle registrations, insurance, and other necessary documents, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Careful & Sensitive Handling of Information:
  • Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when transporting clients, employees, or company materials.
  • Handle sensitive or confidential documents, packages, and discussions carefully, respecting privacy and data protection guidelines.
  • Remain courteous, professional, and respectful at all times, upholding the company's standards of excellence in all interactions.
  • Customer Service & Communication:
  • Foster a positive experience for passengers by being polite, punctual, and attentive to their needs.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and team members regarding scheduling, changes, and any issues that arise.
  • Promptly report any accidents, delays, or mechanical issues to supervisors.
