Tax Compliance Manager Responsibilities

  • Develop the organization's compliance program to ensure all internal practices adhere to applicable federal, state, and local laws
  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely annual tax returns and statutory financial statements on behalf of the company
  • Collaborate with taxation advisors to make sure all direct, indirect, and personal taxes are calculated and submitted appropriately
  • Inspect legal means of reducing tax liability and analyze income tax deductions and sourcing of income to multiple state and local jurisdictions
  • Maintain the company's federal tax position by collecting, preparing, and delivering relevant corporate documentation to tax auditors
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of the organization's tax strategy and guidelines

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Tax Compliance
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Superior mathematical and analytical skills and an eye for detail
  • Experience with preparing and submitting tax statements, tax returns, and the corresponding financial statements
  • Familiarity with federal and state tax policies and regulations
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • CA, CPA, and similar certifications are considered a plus
  • Willing to be assigned in Makati City
