Job Qualification:

Must be a graduate of Geodetic Engineering or Civil Engineering

With at least 2-3 years experience in Mine/Land surveying, construction surveying, or civil works involving field measurements

Job Summary:

Responsible for the effective execution of land survey operations by planning and preparing survey activities according to project requirements. Organizes survey instruments, equipment, and field resources to ensure operational readiness, while leading and coordinating with the team to maintain efficiency and clear communication.

Major Job Function:

Sets up, calibrates, and operates surveying instruments such as Total Station, GPS/RTK, Theodolite, and Auto Level.

Conducts field observations and measurements for horizontal and vertical control, boundary, and as-built surveys.

Ensures all surveying instruments, tools, and accessories are properly maintained, calibrated, secured, and functional at all times.

1. Performs data verification, closure computation, and instrument calibration checks to maintain precision and reliability of survey data.

2. Gathers and records coordinates, elevations, and topographic data from the field.

6.   Coordinates with the Senior Land Tenements Officer and Survey Aide to ensure proper layout, alignment, and establishment of reference points.

7.    Reviews survey instructions, project plans, and technical drawings before field deployment.

8.    Prepares survey control points, instrument calibration schedules, and observation plans in coordination with the Survey Engineer.
