Job Summary

As an Information Security Analyst Level 2 specializing in GRC, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining the organization's security governance framework. This role focuses on policy development, exception management, and risk assessment, while fostering collaboration across regional security teams and business units. Your work will ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Manage the security exceptions process, including:

  • Intake and documentation

  • Risk evaluation
  • Periodic review and renewal

  • Analyze exception requests to identify recurring issues or root causes.

  • Escalate and investigate associated risks or control failures.

  • Report findings to relevant stakeholders.

  • Support security risk assessments for:

  • Business units

  • Internal projects
  • Third-party vendors

  • Collaborate with regional security teams and business units to:

  • Ensure consistent policy implementation

  • Promote risk awareness
  • Align with global security objectives

  • Track and report on:

  • Risk mitigation plans

  • Policy exception trends and metrics

  • Assist in audit preparation for:

  • Internal audits

  • External regulatory assessments

  • Contribute to GRC program improvements through:

  • Automation initiatives

  • Process optimization

  • Stay current on:

  • Emerging regulations and compliance requirements

  • Industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
  • Security trends and best practices
Required Skills and Experience:

2–4 years of hands-on experience in information security, specifically in governance, risk, or compliance domains

Strong grasp of security policy frameworks, risk management principles, and regulatory compliance standards

Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of security policies and exception handling processes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Familiarity with document management best practices and tools

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred experience in communicating with globally distributed teams across diverse languages and cultures

Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and promoting a positive, enterprise-wide security culture

Relevant certifications are a plus, such as:

  • CompTIA Security+
  • CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
  • ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
