Associate Director for Brand and Corporate CommunicationsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. As an Associate Director, you will play a key role in developing the Brand and Corporate Communications Business Unit by strategically growing and managing assigned accounts. The position requires the ability to analyze clients' challenges, design and execute effective strategies, and serve as an advisor for engaging stakeholders.

You are required to perform the following duties and responsibilities professionally:Develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders: government officials, private sector associations, and multilateral institutions. Build, maintain, and grow relationships with existing clients; identify opportunities for collaboration beyond predefined scopes. Provide strategic input in campaign development, agency management, client servicing, and stakeholder alignment.

Establish and deepen Evident's relationships with traditional and non-traditional media; enhance media relations; introduce junior staff to journalists. Lead and mentor BCC staff in campaign execution and client engagement; help discover and develop their strengths. Execute and operationalize client contracts.

Respond to clients' advisory requests related to strategy, communication planning, community relations, and business intelligence. Lead business development activities: generate leads, develop pipelines, and secure contracts. Review or create processes to improve coordination with other departments such as Advocacy Communications, Strategy and Insights, Creative Services, Business Development, Finance, Operations, and HR.Develop new products based on available resources and team capabilities.

As an Associate Director, you are expected to:Be a competent and confident problem solver. Possess strong strategic insights and excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Have good interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to relate well with others.

Have extensive experience in media relations, communication planning, and client servicing. Develop close working relationships with team members. Maintain flexibility and adaptability.

Uphold honesty, integrity, and confidentiality. Proactively seek ways to improve team efficiency. Commit to continuous learning and development.
