Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment or products. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality service. The Repair Technician will work closely with service teams and customers to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment or devices (e.g., electronics, appliances, mechanical systems, or industrial tools).
  • Perform testing to identify faults and confirm successful repairs.
  • Use technical manuals, schematics, and tools to conduct repairs.
  • Document repairs, parts used, and service history accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communicate with customers or internal teams about repair status and recommendations.
  • Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with new repair techniques, tools, and industry standards.
  • Order and manage inventory of parts and tools as needed.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Technical diploma or certification in electronics, mechanics, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in a repair technician or maintenance role.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry moderate weights (up to 50 lbs).
  • Willingness to work on-site or travel locally if required.
  • Commitment to safety standards and procedures.
