Stewarding Supervisor

JOB OVERVIEW:

• ensures the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• keeps track of inventory and supplies, and monitors all kitchen equipment to make sure that all are in good working condition

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• ensures the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and related areas
• washes and sanitizes dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment
• stocks and restocks supplies, such as food, utensils, and cleaning products
• assists in food preparation and plating
• removes trash and recycling from the kitchen and disposing of it properly
• maintains a safe and hygienic work environment
• reports any maintenance or safety issues to management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• should be detail-oriented, have good time management skills, and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment
• with knowledge in proper sanitation and food safety procedures as well as in the inventory management
