Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning & Organization:

Provide key input for developing short, medium, and long-term strategies within the Risk function.

Assist in the review and development of incident management policies and standards to strengthen risk management practices.

  • Incident Management Activities:

Validate operational and technology risk incidents, reviewing incident details and verifying accuracy.

Analyze root causes of incidents and work with relevant teams for investigation and resolution.

Support incident investigations by participating in briefings and war rooms when necessary.

Collaborate with internal business units to understand and address incidents, helping improve the overall risk health and control environment.

Monitor and ensure that action plans are effectively addressing reported incidents, proposing process or control improvements where needed.

Assist in the implementation of corrective actions and tracking of key risks and action items across business units.

Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and board committees.

Perform other duties as required in alignment with the role.

  • Governance, Reporting, and Escalations:

Assist in the preparation of regular reports on operational and technical risk incidents for senior management.

Provide updates to the Incident Management Head regarding ongoing activities and incidents.

Escalate significant risks or non-compliance issues to the appropriate teams for further action.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in incident management, operational risk, or related fields.

Strong communication and reporting skills.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Proactive problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Knowledge of risk management policies and frameworks is an advantage.
