Job Purpose

Execute all reclamation activities in the most efficient manner within the available budget and thereby safely meeting the set deadlines

Principal Accountabilities

  • Oversee and manage all reclamation personnel including sand fill masters, sand fill supervisors, sand fill foremen, pipe fitters, helpers, operators, banksmen, and riggers

  • Provide leadership, feedback, and guidance to the reclamation and project team to ensure effective and efficient operations

  • Initiate large-scale reclamation projects by ensuring the availability of all necessary tools and equipment

  • Coordinate closely with the reclamation manager and project team during the start-up phase

  • Collaborate with the Superintendent and Works Manager to plan reclamation activities, including pipeline layout, water box installation, filling sequence, and silt management

  • Develop and execute works according to design specifications and contractual requirements

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge in reclamation processes and identify potential risks or issues

  • Provide on-the-spot solutions and implement necessary procedures to address and mitigate risks

  • Exhibit strong leadership and assertive approach towards team management and project execution

  • Suggest improvements and introduce new procedures to enhance the working environment and efficiency

  • Ensure optimum utilization of resources and coordinate with the dredging team and vessel crew to maximize operational hours and minimize delays

  • Provide daily progress reports on reclamation operations, including executed and planned activities, EME operational hours, pipeline configuration, and lengths

  • Maintain a tidy and organized site, ensure proper storekeeping, and manage a database of pipelines and

accessories

  • Adhere to safety regulations and create a healthy work environment

  • Ensure that all reclamation personnel comply with HSE/QA/QC standards and client requirements

Relevant Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience, of which at least 05 years' experience as a Sand-fill Master on large scale projects

  • Be able to manage personnel with different cultural backgrounds

  • Motivate and inspire colleagues to develop knowledge, skills and competencies. Provide objective and constructive feedback in an appropriate way

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php50,000.00 per month
