cad operator

We are looking for a skilled CAD Operator to support our engineering and construction team in the preparation of detailed technical drawings and plans. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge in AutoCAD or similar software and can translate design concepts into accurate drawings and layouts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and/or 3D drawings, plans, and technical layouts using AutoCAD (or similar CAD software)

• Convert rough sketches and specifications from engineers/architects into accurate technical drawings

• Revise drawings based on comments and feedback from project managers or engineers

• Ensure all CAD files are organized, labeled, and archived appropriately

• Coordinate with the project/field team to check the accuracy of plans and site measurements

• Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings

• Review and verify dimensions and materials to be included in the drawings

• Maintain confidentiality of company drawings and project data

• Follow company standards and templates for CAD output

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS in Architecture, Drafting Technology, Engineering, or any related course

• Proven experience working as a CAD Operator or Draftsman (preferably in construction or engineering industry)

• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge in other design software is an advantage

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to interpret and understand engineering/architectural plans

• Organized and able to meet deadlines

• Good communication skills

• Willing to be assigned in Mountain Province
