As a webMethods Senior Developer/Consultant, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using webMethods. Your expertise in webMethods and integration concepts will enable you to create efficient and scalable integration workflows that meet the organisation's requirements.
Your responsibilities will include solution design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support of integration solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective communication will be essential to ensure the successful delivery of integration projects.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of integration concepts and methodologies, as well as experience in developing integration solutions using the webMethods product suite. Proficiency in webMethods, data transformations, and business rules is essential. Knowledge of programming languages and API development will be advantageous.
Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be crucial in designing and troubleshooting integration solutions, and your communication and collaboration skills will enable you to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will also be important.
Overall, your role as a webMethods Senior Developer/Consultant, will contribute to the successful integration of systems and the enhancement of the organisation's technology infrastructure using webMethods.
Responsibilities of the Integration Test Manager include:
•Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and design efficient and scalable integration solutions using the webMethods product suite. This includes identifying integration patterns, defining data mappings, and designing error handling and exception management processes.
•Development: Develop integration workflows and processes using webMethods This includes configuring connectors, building data transformations, and implementing business rules and validation processes.
•Testing: Conduct unit testing and integration testing of developed integration solutions to ensure their functionality, performance, and reliability. This includes identifying and resolving any defects or issues that arise during testing.
•Deployment: Prepare integration solutions for deployment to various environments, including development, testing, and production environments. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment and configuration of integration solutions.
•Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for deployed integration solutions. This includes monitoring and troubleshooting integration processes, resolving issues, and ensuring the availability and performance of integration workflows.
•Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, deployment guides, and operational manuals, to ensure the availability of accurate and up-to-date information on integration solutions.
•Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the integration development lifecycle.

What will make you successful in this role?
Required Skills & Experience:
•Proven experience as a webMethods Developer or in a similar role.
•Strong understanding of integration concepts, methodologies and best practices.
•Proficiency in developing integration solutions using webMethods software products.
•Experience with data transformations and business rules.
•Familiarity with API development and integration patterns.
•Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java or JavaScript, is a plus.
•Knowledge of Agile methodologies is preferred.
