This role will focus on developing, maintaining, and optimizing data models and visualizations using Microsoft PowerBI, while also supporting data integration and business intelligence solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Design and develop efficient data models using PowerBI (Microsoft Datalake schemas).

Transform raw data into meaningful formats using Power Query (M) and DAX.

Optimize datasets for performance and scalability.

Create visually appealing, interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.

Implement drill-throughs, slicers, bookmarks, and custom visuals to enhance user experience.

Develop and maintain KPIs, metrics, and scorecards.

Connect Power BI to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, Azure, SharePoint, etc.).

Collaborate with data engineers to ensure reliable data pipelines and ETL processes.

Use Power BI Dataflows or integrate with tools like Azure Data Factory as needed.

Monitor and optimize report loading times and dataset refresh schedules.

Troubleshoot DAX performance issues and reduce memory consumption.

Apply best practices for report and dataset efficiency.

Work with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to gather reporting needs.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Provide training and documentation for business users and self-service BI.

Manage Power BI workspaces, apps, and access permissions.

Implement row-level security (RLS) to control data access.

Collaborate with IT teams to enforce data governance and compliance standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing reports and data models.

Maintain report versions and support change management processes.

Monitor report usage and adopt user feedback for improvements.

Requirements:

Skills, Tools & Technologies

Power BI (Desktop, Service, Mobile)

DAX, Power Query (M)

SQL Server, Azure SQL, Excel, SharePoint

Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Data Factory

Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps (optional)

Git or version control systems (in some environments)

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving

Communication with both technical and non-technical audiences

Attention to detail in data accuracy and report design

Time management and ability to work independently or in a team

Bachelor's degree in software engineering, in related field or 5+ years of professional experience in PowerBI and PowerApps development.

Expert knowledge of Python 3.x, including standard libraries, OOP, and functional programming.

Strong background in system design, software architecture, and microservices.

Proficiency with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web integrations.

Knowledge of containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure, SharePoint, Excel).

Strong databases (SQL, Microsoft Fabric - Datalake and SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).

Strong knowledge of HubSpot CRM, and/or Deltek Vision ERP codebase.

Strong understanding of unit testing and automated testing frameworks.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Willing to work on a night shift schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php180, Php200,000.00 per month
