Draftsman OJT

Job Title: Draftsman (OJT / Intern)Job Summary:

The Draftsman OJT will assist the design and engineering team in preparing and updating technical drawings for construction projects. Under supervision, the trainee will learn how to interpret plans, use CAD software, and apply basic drafting standards used in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and revising AutoCAD drawings for architectural, structural, or civil works.
• Support engineers and architects in drafting layouts, sections, and details.
• Help in preparing as-built drawings and updating drawing revisions.
• Perform measurement and data collection from site visits when needed.
• Organize and maintain drawing files and related documents.
• Learn and apply company drafting standards and construction practices.
• Provide general support to the design or engineering department.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Drafting Technology course.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or other drafting software.
• Detail-oriented and willing to learn technical standards in construction.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to be assigned at project site or main office, as required.
