Key Responsibilities
Power BI Architecture & Development

  • Architect, design, and maintain enterprise-level Power BI data models, datasets, semantic models, and dashboards.

  • Build optimized, scalable DirectQuery or hybrid data connectivity solutions with BigQuery.

  • Implement row‑level security (RLS), data governance, performance tuning, and workspace management best practices.

BigQuery + Power BI Integration

  • Design and implement performant data pipelines, views, and SQL transformations in BigQuery for downstream BI use.

  • Troubleshoot and optimize BigQuery queries to ensure low‑latency Power BI dashboards.

  • Define integration strategy including gateway configuration, data refresh strategies, and cost optimization.

Enterprise Reporting Strategy + Leadership

  • Establish and drive a large‑scale reporting practice, including standards, templates, reusable assets, governance frameworks, and lifecycle management.

  • Mentor analysts, BI developers, and data engineers on data modeling and visualization best practices.

  • Define KPIs, reporting frameworks, and analytics roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to translate business needs into scalable BI solutions.

  • Communicate insights and technical concepts effectively to non‑technical audiences.

  • Manage expectations, prioritize initiatives, and deliver high‑impact analytic solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering.

  • Expert‑level proficiency with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and performance optimization.

  • Hands‑on experience integrating Google BigQuery with Power BI.

  • Strong SQL expertise and experience optimizing queries for cloud data warehouses.

  • Proven experience building and leading enterprise reporting environments.

  • Deep understanding of data governance, security, and analytics CoE models.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with GCP, Azure, or AWS.

  • Experience with CI/CD automation for Power BI deployments.

  • Familiarity with semantic modeling tools such as Tabular Editor.

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Data Analyst Associate or Google Professional Data Engineer.
