As a Submissions Officer, you will play a crucial role in our brokerage's operations, managing the submission process for loan applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency to facilitate successful outcomes for our clients.

What will you be doing?

  • Loan Application Management. Oversee the end-to-end loan submission process, including initial assessment, data entry, and submission to lending institutions or lenders.
  • Document Verification and Compliance: Review and verify loan application documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Communication and Liaison: Serve as a point of contact between clients, brokers, and lending institutions, ensuring smooth communication and resolving any issues related to submissions.
  • Pipeline Management: Monitor and manage the loan submission pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups, updates, and accurate records of application statuses.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on submissions, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaboration with Brokers: Collaborate closely with brokers and other internal stakeholders to gather necessary information, address any submission-related queries, and streamline the submission process.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Australian financial services industry, preferably in a brokerage or lending environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of loan submission processes, documentation requirements, and compliance standards in Australia.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple loan applications simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications used for submission management and document processing. Familiar with Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office
