SALES & MARKETING ASSOCIATE

Position: Sales & Marketing Associate

Department: Marketing Department

Reports to: Management / Supervisor / Chief of Staff

Position Overview

The Sales and Marketing Associate is responsible for driving bookings and revenue for Siesta Spaces through direct sales efforts, social media engagement, online travel agencies (OTAs), and walk-in customers. This role requires a proactive individual who can close deals, analyze market trends, and provide actionable insights through regular sales and marketing reports.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Booking Management

  • Engage with potential guests through social media, email, phone, and walk-in inquiries to close bookings and ensure high occupancy of rooms.
  • Maintain strong relationships with guests, partners, and agents to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to all booking inquiries and requests.
  • Work closely with OTAs (e.g., Agoda, , Airbnb) to maximize visibility and revenue.

Marketing & Performance Tracking

  • Assist in creating and implementing marketing promotions to boost occupancy and brand awareness.
  • Monitor and report performance of marketing campaigns and promotions across online travel agencies and social media platforms.
  • Provide regular updates on guest inquiries, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align sales promotions with brand messaging.

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct competitive analysis of hotels, hostels, and accommodations in the area to identify pricing and marketing opportunities.
  • Track tourism and hospitality trends that may affect demand, occupancy, and revenue.
  • Provide recommendations to management on pricing strategies, promotions, and positioning.

Reporting

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, including booking volume, revenue, and performance of sales channels.
  • Present insights and recommendations to management based on market research and campaign results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Tourism Management, or related field.
  • Fresh graduates or with up to one (1) year of relevant work experience are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both online and face-to-face.
  • Basic knowledge of sales reporting, Excel/Google Sheets, and online booking systems.
  • Familiarity with OTAs and social media platforms for hotel promotion is an advantage.
  • Goal-oriented, persuasive, and customer-focused.

This role combines sales hustle and marketing insight—you'll be the front-liner converting inquiries into bookings, while also tracking performance and ensuring Siesta Spaces stays competitive in the hotel and tourism market.
