We are looking for a skilled and motivated Workday Developer to join our Application Management Service Team. You will serve as a key partner supporting multiple Workday modules, including HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, and more. You will collaborate closely with business units P&C team, and other stakeholders to optimize P&C processes, implement system enhancements, and ensure data integrity within Workday. The ideal candidate will have hands-on configuration and reporting experience and a strong desire to grow as a subject matter expert in Workday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary HRIS partner supporting designated Workday modules, including Core HCM, Absence, Benefits, Talent, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Recruitment, and Reporting.
- Provide expert consultation by gathering business requirements, conducting impact analyses, and recommending effective Workday solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for current and upcoming Workday features and enhancements.
- Evaluate new Workday releases and identify opportunities to streamline, improve, and optimize existing P&C processes.
- Configure, test, validate, and implement business process changes in Workday following best practices.
- Assist in testing integrations, security configurations, and annual P&C events such as compensation cycles and performance reviews.
- Maintain and govern master data values in Workday, including Job Profiles, Job Families, Roles, Positions, Locations, and Custom Organization Types.
- Serve as an escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 HRIS-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with our team members to share knowledge and support continuous improvement.
- Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to enhance process and policy knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of hands-on Workday configuration and administration experience.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Talent, Advanced Compensation, Absence, or Benefits modules.
- Advanced skills in BIRT report development.
- Workday Pro Certification in one or more of the following: Core HCM, Talent & Performance / Talent Management, Absence, Time Tracking.
- Strong Core HCM experience in: Custom Objects, Business Processes (Request BP), Questionnaire, Reporting (including Calculated Fields), BIRT Report Development, Creation of EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder).
