About the Role

We are a California-based firm specializing in A&E services for the telecom industry. We are seeking a Lead Telecom Drafter based in the
Philippines (NCR)
to support our U.S. project teams remotely. This role is responsible for overseeing and producing accurate technical drawings, and other deliverables to support telecommunications projects. This role ensures drafting standards and project requirements are met while coordinating with project managers. The Lead Drafter reviews the work, provides guidance to junior drafters, and maintains quality control across deliverables. They also contribute to process improvements, manage drafting schedules, and ensure timely completion of project submittals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Utilize AutoCAD to generate electronic files of client facilities, including but not limited to, floor plans, dimensioning, notes, elevation views, single-line drawings, cut sheets, telco, photographs, site plans, plotting/printing, binding, and on-site survey and evaluation
  2. Accountable to timelines and correctness of work delivered.
  3. Accepts and rejects task emails by responding to emails once received.
  4. Review external redlines and implement the required changes indicated.
  5. Responsible for QC/QA work by performing internal redlines and reviews for the assigned team or tasks.
  6. Reviews endorsed tasks from the project manager and assigns these tasks to a designer.
  7. Manages and updates the CAD library for team's use.
  8. Acts as point of contact (POC) for all A&E/ Design/ Technical related tasks coming from the project manager counterpart.
  9. Coordinates design and technical queries; initiates follow-ups and flags design concerns or issues to project manager counterpart.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
    , in Telecoms Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Telecom Construction Drawings Drafting and Quality Check
  • Strong proficiency in Autocad. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and cloud file-sharing platforms (e.g., Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox).
  • Excellent leadership skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with Traffic Control Plan ls is a plus.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience with telecom projects and drawing production.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and as-builts is a bonus.
  • Knowledgeable in 3D rendering, Photoshop and
