Duties and Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Coordination

  • Develop and review project plans, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Assist in preparing project schedules and monitor progress.

2. Site Supervision

  • Oversee daily site operations to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Monitor workmanship and ensure construction follows design and technical specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and meetings.
  • Process and monitor logistics and material inventory

3. Quality Control & Assurance

  • Implement quality control procedures.
  • Review and approve materials, methods, and installations.
  • Address any non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain records of site activities, including reports, photos, and logs.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Ensure proper documentation of change orders, RFIs, and site instructions.

5. Budget and Cost Monitoring

  • Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budgets.
  • Evaluate and verify contractor claims, billing, and variations.

6. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Monitor and enforce health and safety procedures at the site.

7. Problem Solving

  • Resolve technical and construction issues in coordination with design and construction teams.
  • Recommend design modifications or improvements as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Licensed Architect or Civil/Mech/Elec Engineer is a plus
  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Willing to be assigned in different projects anywhere in the country.
  • Previous experience in Commercial Construction Fit-out (Offices, Retail, Restaurant fit-out) works is typically required for experienced candidate/s.
  • Project Architects/Engineers should have strong technical skills in architectural and engineering principles and practices. They should also have excellent communication and leadership skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, time management skills, and flexibility.
  • Knowledge in Autodesk CAD, MS Office programs is a must, while knowledge in SketchUp program is a plus
  • Can do quantitative survey and estimates, and quality control
