Truckman

Summary of Functions

A Truckman works and assists the Driver's task in delivering goods to customers and business units except driving.

Functions:

• Follow the rotation schedule given by the Transport Supervisor for assigned drivers to assist
• Responsible in photocopying delivery receipt and sales invoice for counter checking when unloading goods to the customer
• Assists in loading and unloading as well as checking of items delivered
• Waits in line from the delivery area of clients. When store is ready to accept delivery, informs the driver to proceed to delivery area
• Ensures that the Delivery receipt or other documents needed to be accomplished in delivery are signed by the customer/client and vice versa to customer documents
• If there's no assignment to drivers, assists to warehouse racking in charge in picking and arranging of goods

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• At least a High School Graduate
• Physical fitness to stand, bend and lift objects
• Able to read, write and do basic arithmetic
• Good organizing and communications skills
• Hardworking and honest
