The Utility Cleaner supports daily restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in both the kitchen and storage areas. This role ensures that supplies, equipment, and work areas are kept in good condition to uphold food safety and service standards.

Cleaning & Sanitation

  • Clean and sanitize all restroom fixtures including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and floors.
  • Refill supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and air fresheners as needed.
  • Wash and sanitize all kitchen utensils, dishes, cookware, and equipment according to restaurant and health department standards.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, sinks, and workstations regularly throughout the shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers;
  • Empty and clean trash bins and recycling containers frequently; dispose of waste safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor dishwashing machines for proper operation; refill detergents and sanitizers as needed.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain cleaning checklists and assist in periodic inspections by supervisors or health authorities.

Equipment & Inventory

  • Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in restaurant or F&B cleaning/sanitation an advantage.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation best practices (training provided).
  • Physically able to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate loads, and work on feet for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
