Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented MEPFS Engineer specializing in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering to oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Safety (MEPFS) systems in our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all MEPFS systems are integrated efficiently, meet quality standards, and comply with local regulations and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Planning:
- Develop comprehensive MEPFS system designs, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Conduct load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with architectural and structural engineers to ensure seamless integration of MEPFS systems.
- Construction Oversight:
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEPFS systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
- Quality Assurance & Control:
- Implement quality control procedures to verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the quality of materials, workmanship, and system performance.
- Identify and resolve quality issues promptly and efficiently.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Prioritize safety on construction sites, enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, fire codes, and other relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, technical documents, and project status reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEPFS engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, fire codes, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-rise building construction and complex infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and procedures.
- A strong understanding of sustainable design principles and energy-efficient systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php28, Php35,000.00 per month
