Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an
Accounting Manager.

The
Accounting Manager
is primarily to oversee month end and year end reports are completed accurately, on time and in compliance with accounting standards.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance of financial statements with reporting requirements management reports and financial reports.
  • Performs periodic review of balance sheets accounts, subsidiary ledgers are reconciled to general ledgers
  • Delivers financial reports on the company's performance and position and provides insights that drives decisions.
  • Assists in developing and implementing new accounting and reporting requirements and determines result impact.
  • Recommends solution to issues associated with complex accounting transactions and provides appropriate treatment.
  • Evaluates process improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Evaluates large and complex investments and financing projects and performs post-investment reviews
  • Understands the effectiveness of the company's accounting information system and its interface with other systems including end to end data flow.
  • Understands tax matters and reports within clear guidelines
  • Provides accounting advisory to functional teams/groups as needed
  • Provides technical guidance to direct reports and is informed of the latest standards or development in the finance industry.

What are the Qualifications?

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • Preferably a CPA but not required.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably 4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Finance - Corporate Finance/Investment/Merchant Banking or equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable in SAP
