Forklift Operator/Warehouseman

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklift (counterbalance, reach truck, or other types as needed) to load/unload delivery trucks
  • Move goods and materials within warehouse, stacking them properly and securely
  • Place items in appropriate storage areas (racks, shelves, pallets)
  • Transfer materials between workstations, production lines, or storage areas
  • Inspect forklift before use: check fuel / battery, brakes, controls, safety devices, tires
  • Report and escalate any mechanical issues or malfunctions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse floors, aisle spaces, and equipment
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation
  • Follow safety procedures and comply with company safety standards (PPE, lockout/tagout, signage)
  • Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed (packing, labeling, staging)
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, production, logistics, and shipping/receiving teams

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • At least 1–2 years' experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse / production environment
  • Valid forklift operation certification / license (if required by local law)
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling, storage systems
  • Familiarity with safety standards and practices
  • Good physical condition: ability to lift, bend, sit for long periods
  • Attention to detail, safety focus
  • Good communication and ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexible to work varied shifts (day / night / weekend) depending on operations
  • Able to operate related equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.) is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
