Drill & Blast Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To lead the team to meet the production required.

2. To closely monitor the performance of all drilling equipment in the field.

3. Coordinate to Mine Supervisors for the equipment needed for the drilling area preparation.

4. To accomplish Drill Performance Report as required daily.

5. Commence sounding of holes during night shift for blasting preparation.

6. Ensure that drilling area is safe for both men and machine while working.

7. To supervise Quality Assurance Team while the head Q.A. group is on roster break.

8. To supervise quality assurance of drill area cleans up.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

1. Must be a Licensed Mining Engineer.

2. Must have at least 1 year experience in Drill and Blast operations.

3. High level of interpersonal skills and integrity;

4. Creative, forward thinker, proactive

5. Ability to manage time and able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets.

6. Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.

7. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

8. A reliable professional who follows organization and department procedures, completes tasks in a timely manner.

Inter/Intra personal relationships

1. Will maintain close liaison with the Drill and Blast Superintendent and counterparts.

2. The position must work effectively with the member of the team

Willing to assign in San Ildefonso, Bulacan.
