Traffic Analyst

• JOB DESCRIPTION

Traffic Analyst will be part of the Regional Asia Transportation team Main responsibility is to act as a regional resource and coordinator between internal plants and globally contracted freight forwarders

Major Duties And Responsibilities
1 Coordinate the logistics related activities with Forwarders Factory Engineers End Users and Factory Logistics on a per request basis Monitor from pick up to delivery

2 Conducts the spot rate with Forwarders for ad hoc shipment request

3 Provide review and approval of rate requests from freight forwarders

4 Communicate with carriers internal logistics planning buyers and customer service organizations

5 Manage internalexternal customers enquiries and provide various Logistics supports

6 Perform cost analysis write and review corrective actions submitted by carriers for admin quality incidents

7 Responsible for claim filing with carriers relative to lossdamage

8 Manage supplier adherence to routing instructions

9 Conduct data analysis and modeling for continuous operation improvement

10 Perform additional tasks that may be neededassigned from time to time

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

1 2 years working experience

2 Degree in Supply Chain Logistics Business Administration or related background

3 Knowledge of domestic and global transportation industry and processes

4 Proficient in MS Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint and data analytics tools

5 Team player strong communication and analytical skills
