Job Title: Web Developer

Company: Networking Solutions provider in Singapore

Work Setup: Onsite / Monday to Friday / 9 am to 6 pm

Work Location: Makati

Salary: Php 60,000 basic salary + benefits

Overview

As a web developer for the company, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and maintenance of our web-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business objectives and exceed user expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development of web applications, from concept to deployment.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other relevant languages.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers.
  • Assist less-experienced team members with complex problems.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience and proven success as a Web Developer
  • Proficiency in web development with Apache, MySQL, and PHP in a Unix/Linux environment
  • Must have experience with the Symfony framework
  • Strong interest in web usability and interactivity, including use of JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, AJAX
  • Knowledge of web application technologies, including HTML5, SOAP & XML
  • Experience with Payment, Content Management, Advertisement, or Reporting System integration is preferred
  • Solid foundation in TCP/IP networking and protocols, including HTTP
  • Strong programming skills with a keen interest in continuous improvement
  • Understanding of security practices to ensure the protection of web applications
  • Troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms

  • Leadership experience is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month

  • Makati: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
